Instrument flying with Rauk

This is a video of when I rode backseat with Ben during one of his flights with Gene (our instructor), during which time we got a little bit of actual instrument time (flew through the clouds). It was a good day to enjoy God's creation and not have to worry about the stress of flying!

Instrument, do ya say?

Over Memorial Day weekend (we had Monday off of school), I decided to paint the bathroom and living room in my condo. Somehow, I always bite off more than I can chew. So, 1200 sq ft of spackling, scraping, sanding, sweating, and painting later... I finished with an adequately good-looking paint job (the previous color was a mixture of white and a 70's yellow... precious)



















































As we near the summer, we're learning a little more about the formation of thunderstorms... as shown by these 2 pictures that I took roughly 5 min apart.











































God's creation is so cool...


Lastly, and most importantly, I have 5 flights until my Instrument checkride! Be praying I'll be able to finish this week, with minimal stress.
