I took Jeff Goodrich flying today (a buddy of mine from A&P school days, he was a SCC student), as my Friday afternoon class (Media in Ministry/Speech) is on Spring Break for a couple weeks. It was a lot of fun, especially after 3 hours in our simulator this morning practicing VOR holds *tears hair out* There's nothing quite so special in flying IFR as holding... think of it as a racetrack in the sky they send planes to to provide separation of landing traffic. Unfortunately, it's also a high workload, high stress, and often annoying environment. However... did I mention that it's still fun? ;)
