Whoa... It's March

Time has been flying recently... A few things have happened since my last post:

- I finished maintenance seminar over the past 2 weeks, which was quite enjoyable... and I only have one more seminar before I graduate!

- I installed Linux on my computer and have spent the last week attempting to get everything set up correctly (a lot of hours have been put into this, unfortunately)

- I worked temporarily at the UPS store, doing some data entry work for them. My boss wasn't able to provide a weekend-ish position, so I'm jobless until I find something else... or until their weekend guy leaves. Be praying I'd be able to find something that wouldn't be a major hindrance to school. Also, I was able to work and talk with a girl there and explain a little bit of my faith to her... and live it out by fixing computer issues so she could print out a school project.

- Dawn left for Belize yesterday to do some teaching in the glorious, sunny, and warm weather (as she was fond of reminding me... we got another couple inches of snow this week). In all seriousness, I'd really appreciate prayer for her while she's down there... visit her blog here for more specific info!

- I start Instrument training on Monday!! AHHHH!!!

- I'll be talking with Compass Aviation this week about opportunities with them after I finish school, before I join JAARS. They're a ministry whose sole purpose is to give graduates of mission aviation programs the experience, financial help, and support needed to "fill the gap" before joining a mission (I'll be graduating with about 250 hrs of flight time, most missions require 400-500 before you can be accepted). I've been praying about this opportunity for awhile, so be praying this conversation, and ones to come, would go smoothly and that I'd ask the right questions. Visit their website here!

Well, that's some of what's going on. Thank you for the prayers and encouragement!
