Holding... done!
Have you ever walked out of a doctor's office and breathed a big sigh of relief because you had been dreading the visit for over a week? Well, that was close to my feeling of relief after I passed my holding checkride on Thursday (which has been named the most difficult checkride at Moody). Praise God, I flew well and with precision, despite turbulent conditions... but messed up on part of one clearance, then figured out what I misunderstood quickly enough to save the checkride. I'm starting to gain a healthy amount of confidence in my flying; something I'll constantly have to check, but also something that helps with being comfortable when it comes time to prove what I know and how I fly.
This is a picture of my life... looking at all those dials and needles and pretty GPS'. Thanks for all the prayers and encouragement, I simply can't make it through without support.
