We've been enjoying the arrival of summer here in the inland Northwest (it finally showed up the week we left for NC). Regular trips to the park have helped relieve some of the cabin fever feelings and Judah has really enjoyed getting out and about on a regular basis... regardless of his facial expression.
Dawn and I got out on a date for her birthday - had a nice hike along the Little Spokane River and saw some "friends" as we did!
I've really been enjoying an extra challenge at Moody as I've stepped into a completely new role as Maintenance Training Coordinator (for now, that job title will change soon :) ), and have transitioned from on-the-floor shop monkey to at-the-computer curriculum/technical writer (among other things - gotta love the "other duties as assigned" section of a job description).
We appreciate your support and prayers - the next few months are going to be increasing in stress for me, which unfortunately does affect my family as well. So, pray for me as I seek to handle my work load and family life appropriately.
And for a little taste of that home life, here's a short video that Dawn took of our 2 kiddos:
